Trent's new obsession

Trent has a new pet,
or should I say ............
YUCK!!!

The kid is obsessed with catching worms, he is so proud of each and every one that we have to make a new home for them out of a plastic cup. He even took one to show and tell at preschool a few weeks ago. On the way home he told me that the worm (which had passed on sometime the previous day) was just sleeping. He enjoys digging thru the dirt to find them and then chasing his cousins around with them. I'm sure he will someday grow out of this phase but until he does,

My "5".
- Email (I know it's lame but it is such a life-saver)
- Sunshine
- My hard-working extended family
- Baseball (yes, Jason, I said Baseball)
- My three SICK kids who need their Mommy.
These are 5 things that at this very moment I am thankful for. I stole this idea from a friend but I thought it would be fun to remind me of my blessings.

"A Bad Dream"
I didn't think I'd be this bummed about the fact that the high school baseball season is over. After all, this does mean that I get my husband back. Which is critical at this time in our lives because we are trying to get a house built.
But after a few days of mourning the loss Jason got around to feeling like talking to me again (the silence made for a not so great mothers day) and all he could say was
"this all feels like a bad dream, like we really didn't lose. I will wake up and we'll be playing those games again".
So even though I do get to become reacquainted with my husband now that baseball is over, it doesn't make the end of a great season any easier to handle.
Trenton's Graduation!
I just want let everyone know that Trent will be graduating for the second of three times from preschool. Thats right, he has one more year of preschool before he is off to kindergarten (thank heavens, I need a more time before I send my first born off to real big kids school). But anyone who wants to come see the cute little graduate please feel free to join us:

Congratulations Grantsville Baseball Boys!
I am so Proud to announce that Grantsville Baseball is the region 11 champs.
This is great news for us because Jason is the assistant coach, and because my two little boys think that Grantsville baseball is the BEST. My kids share their dad about 7 months out of the year with the "boys" from Grantsville and so its nice to know that it is all worth the sacrifice. Their hard work has paid off but they are not done yet. They start the state tourny this weekend by hosting first and second round games at home. I will be rooting for the Cowboys
and so will the little Cowboys Fan Club!

Bringing Down The HOUSE!
We started the project of taking down the house on Thurs the 16th, but like th
e rest of this project it was
stalled after we took the first few swipes at the house.(don't even ask, just know that it was our stupid bank again). But Jason and I got to take our turns releasing our frustrations by taking over at the controls of the hoe.
So after a few days and most of my patients being used up we got to finish the project. Well, Gillespie got to finish it anyway. He did all the work on the demo and Graig drove the dump truck to haul it off. My boys have been
so excited to see the house finally come down. They even got to sit in the track-hoe and ride in the dump truck. I am even more excited than ever to begin the house building process. It seems like things are starting to roll along. I can't express enough the thanks I have for all those in our family who have helped us out. We wouldn't be able
to do any of this without the help of Jason Gillespie, Graig and my Dad & Mom, just to name a few. Keep checking the blog and I will put updates on the work as it progresses toward our new home.
